Dorchester man charged with breaking and entering in Roxbury

A Dorchester man is facing charges related to house break-ins in Roxbury, Boston police said Saturday.

John Anderson, 30, was arrested Friday around 6:30 p.m. in the area of 1 Blackfan Circle in Roxbury on a warrant charging him with two counts of breaking and entering and two counts of attempt to commit a crime, police said in a statement.

He is accused of two break-ins early last Sunday morning in the area of 27A Cherokee St. and 33 Hillside St., along with two attempted break-ins in the area of 5R Cherokee St., police said.

He is set to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
