Boston welcomed 2019 on a joyous note when a baby girl was born exactly at midnight at Boston Medical Center.
Adeline Bridie Brennan weighed in at 7 pounds, 1.6 ounces, and measured 19½ inches long, the hospital said in a statement early Tuesday morning.
The newborn and her mom, Alana Brennan, “are resting comfortably,” Jenny Eriksen Leary, a hospital spokeswoman, said in the statement.
Adeline was delivered by nurses Meghan Molnar and Marrina Falcone and doctors Teju Adegoke and Briana Perry, the statement said.
