A woman was killed Saturday evening when the car she was driving crashed on Interstate 93 southbound in Medford, according to State Police.
The single-car crash occurred about 7:40 p.m. at exit 33 on I-93, said David Procopio, a State Police spokesman, in an e-mail.
State Police’s collision reconstruction unit, crime scene technicians and detectives, and troopers were on the scene Saturday night.
The southbound side of the highway may possibly be closed for a period of time for the investigation, Procopio said shortly before 9 p.m.
