    State Police arrest two brothers in connection with 2014 child rape

    State Police Thursday morning arrested two brothers from Central Massachusetts wanted in connection with the 2014 rape of a girl, according to that agency.

    Authorities said that Marlborough police investigating the rape recently obtained warrants for Dennis O. Orellana, 34, of Westborough, and Hilin Orellana, 26, of Marlborough.

    This week, investigators from the State Police’s violent fugitive apprehension unit started to work on locating the brothers. Surveillance was set up at potential addresses for the two suspects, said State Police.


    Before dawn on Thursday, investigators simultaneously hit two apartments; Dennis Orellana was arrested in Westborough and Hilin Orellana in Marlborough.

    The suspects were booked at Marlborough Police Department and were expected to be arraigned Thursday in Middlesex County, according to State Police.

    Information about their arraignments was not immediately available Thursday night.
