A vehicle caught fire in the Thomas P. “Tip” O’Neill Jr. Tunnel on Thursday morning, according to State Police.
At 8:42 a.m., State Police tweeted that a crash occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 93 near Exit 26, and only the left lane was open to traffic. The fire has since been extinguished and smoke has cleared out of the tunnel, according to police.
By 9:07 a.m., all lanes of traffic were open again.
