Law enforcement officials responded to Laconia, N.H., to investigate a suspicious death Friday, authorities said.
State Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald’s confirmed the probe in a brief statement.
“Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner, and Laconia Police Chief Matthew Canfield announce that officials are responding to a suspicious death in Laconia, New Hampshire,” the release said. “Additional information will be released as it becomes available.”
Prosecutors didn’t immediately disclose the victim’s name, gender or age or provide information on a preliminary cause of death.
No arrests have been reported.
