Suspicious death of Hampton, N.H. man ruled a homicide

The death of a man found unconscious with “unknown injuries” in his Hampton, N.H., apartment Saturday has been ruled a homicide, officials said.

An autopsy performed Monday determined that Juan Astacio, 34, was killed, authorities said. The cause of his death was “withheld pending further investigation.”

Police found Astacio after receiving a call about an incident at his apartment, officials said. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital, officials said.

The investigation is ongoing, officials said, and anyone with information is asked to call State Police at 603-223-4381.
