Two liquor store employees can be seen backing away from a masked robber with a large knife, in a chilling surveillance video taken Tuesday night in Quincy.

No one was injured when the man holding the knife walked into Discount Liquors at 380 Granite St. around 9:41 p.m. and ordered workers, “Give me all the money,” before running out the front door onto Granite Street toward Town Hill Street, Quincy police said in a statement.

The video shows an employee shoving another employee to safety, then throwing what appears to be money and lottery tickets at the robber.

The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a black ski mask with gray stripes, jeans, a black jacket with a red patch, black and gray gloves, and black sneakers, police said.

Police asked anyone with information on the case to contact Detective Rick Wash at 617-745-5762 or send an e-mail to rwash@quincyma.gov.
