Swastika found in bathroom at high school in Easton

Officials are investigating after racist graffiti was found Friday in a high school bathroom in Easton.

School authorities were alerted to a swastika, drawn in pencil on a sink in the boys bathroom at Oliver Ames High School Friday afternoon, Easton Public Schools said in a statement. The graffiti has since been removed.

“This type of hate speech and hateful action has no room here in our schools or in our community,” Superintendent Lisha Cabral said.

Parents were alerted to the incident by school officials, and the department is working with Easton police to find a suspect.
