Police are looking to identify a woman who was caught on video rummaging through a mailbox at a home on Hamilton Avenue in Quincy.

The woman is believed to have stolen mail from a residence on Hamilton near Belmont Street on Friday, according to a Facebook post by the Quincy Police Department. She was driving a gray 2004 Infiniti G35 with a Masschusetts license plate (8MA849) that’s registered to a man in Woburn, police said.

Quincy police posted a video of the woman on Facebook. Police said the full video shows her exiting the vehicle with restaurant menus in her hand and approaching a “number houses on the odd side of street.”

Police said detectives are working to identify the woman, and they urge anyone who sees suspicious activity involving her or that vehicle to contact the Quincy Police Department at 617-479-1212.
