Two North Quincy High School staff members have resigned for undisclosed reasons, Quincy school officials said.

The circumstances leading to their resignations did not involve students, Superintendent Richard DeCristofaro said in a letter sent to parents on Tuesday.

He could not provide more details about their resignations because the information pertains to a “confidential personnel matter,” he said in the letter.

The letter did not identify the staff members.

“Given North Quincy High School’s long-standing tradition of excellence, pride, and resilience, I have no doubt that Principal Shaw and the staff will continue to be caring and compassionate to the students and each other in the days to come,” DeCristofaro said in the letter.

No further information was available Thursday night.
