Brandeis investigates after photos found on anti-Jewish site

Public safety officials at Brandeis University have determined there is no direct threat to the Waltham school after investigating photos of “community members” posted in an online forum connected to white nationalism.

The photos, according to a letter from the Brandeis public safety director to the school’s community, were “part of a much larger collection of images and commentary that includes anti-Semitic and racist language.”

“While this situation is obviously disturbing, Public Safety has investigated and found no direct threat to these individuals or to Brandeis,” read the letter. “We do not believe there is reason to be concerned at this time, but Public Safety will continue to monitor the situation.”

The Associated Press reported that photos of several students and professors from the university’s website appeared on the Vanguard News Network Forum, which promotes white nationalist views.
