Man grazed in head by bullet during Lynn shooting

A 45-year-old man was grazed in the head by a bullet during a shooting in Lynn on Wednesday night, Lynn police said.

The man, whom police did not identify, was shot at 42 West Baltimore St. around 11:17 p.m., Lynn police Lieutenants Christopher Kelly and Michael Kmiec said.

“It was a serious injury, but non-life-threatening at this point,” Kmiec said.

Police have not arrested any suspects yet, Kelly said.

“The detectives are still working on how many people were possibly involved and any motive for it. It doesn’t appear as if the victim was the target, though,” Kmiec said.
