A car slammed into a convenience store in Brockton Tuesday morning, Brockton firefighters said.

The car, a Nissan Rogue, crashed into a building at 336 Belmont St. around 6:30 a.m., said Brockton Deputy Fire Chief Scott Albanese.

“The car entered almost all the way into a convenience store. There were no visible injuries on the driver. She was in the vehicle alone. [Firefighters] didn’t have to use any extrication equipment on the car,” Albanese said.

The woman was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, firefighters said.

No one was in the store during the crash, Albanese said.

“The car made it all the way through the sidewall into the store. When I drove by, a contractor was boarding up the sidewall,” Albanese said.
