The City Council will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting Tuesday on a special permit application by Perez Service & Repair to open an automobile repair shop in the vacant garage at 61 Commercial St. The council will also hold a hearing on an application by City Enterprise, Inc. to operate a laundromat in the vacant building at 597 Essex St. that formerly housed a printing company. The council will hold a third hearing on a request by the city's Inspectional Services Department for an order to demolish the vacant building at 122-126 Marianna St. The department has deemed the building a public hazard due to its condition, according to the city clerk's office. The meeting will begin at 8 p.m. in the council chambers in City Hall.
