Tree pickup program to benefit the arts

The Dracut Performing Arts Boosters will hold their annual Christmas tree pickup and removal fund-raiser on Saturday, Jan. 5. For a donation of $5, booster members will collect trees at donors’ homes and dispose of them. Trees must be outside by 9 a.m. on pickup day and must be outside the house, on a porch, or on a deck. In the event of severe weather or a snowstorm, tree pickups will be scheduled for Jan. 6. Collection of wreaths is not available. Donation fees will benefit the Dracut High School Performing Arts program, supporting the band, color guard, orchestra, and show choir. For more information or to download a pickup form, visit www.dhsmusic.com.
