A Dracut man is facing charges of assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and intimidating a witness after an argument with his girlfriend. Police were called to the Mammoth Road home of 22-year-old Ryan Bunker on Jan. 2 following a report of a domestic disturbance and found Bunker’s girlfriend screaming in the driveway. She reportedly told police she had been slapped, spit upon, and pushed face-first into a blanket during an argument that started because Bunker had failed to pick her up from work. Bunker was arrested, held on $500 cash bail, and instructed in Lowell District Court to abide by any restraining order that might be filed as a result of the alleged assault.
