Public hearing determines future of vacant lot

The planning board Monday will hold a public hearing on a six-unit residential development proposed for 160 Green St., which is now a vacant lot. The hearing will be held at 8 p.m. in the mayor's conference room at City Hall. An application for site plan review and a special permit was filed under the city's Affordable Housing Incentive Program. That requires that 10 percent of a development's units be set aside for households earning 50 to 80 percent of the median income for Greater Boston, which now is $94,400, according to federal data.
