Somerville High School’s trivia team is gearing up to participate in WGBH’s “High School Quiz Show,” and the taping is open to the public, according to an announcement from Somerville schools. Somerville will square off against Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in the opening round of the 16-school tournament on Jan. 26. The show will not air until March 3, but community members who wish to attend the live taping at WGBH studios in Boston can reserve a spot at highschoolquizshow.org . Somerville’s team is made up of Zoe Iacovino, Miles Bain, Celine Lessard-Brandt, and John Iacovino, and alternates R.J. Bingham and Graham Lessard-Brandt. It is coached by social studies teacher Ted Blake. The team beat out more than 80 schools to earn a spot on the television show for the second straight year.
