North: Players of the Week, Top 10 boys’ and girls’ basketball teams

Vinny Clifford , Danvers: The 6-foot-3 sophomore guard netted a game-high 14 points, draining four 3-pointers as the Falcons topped Beverly, 49-47. A late 3 gave Danvers a 42-40 lead.

Shannon Hayes , Billerica: Scoring a team-high 14 points, the junior captain led a balanced attack as the Indians took down three-time state champ Andover, 58-51.

Olivia Healy , Reading: The senior forward scored 42 of her team’s 56 points, and became the school’s all-time leading scorer, boy or girl (1,568 points), in a 56-39 win at Watertown.

Isaiah Nelsen , North Andover: In the first-ever Merrimack Valley Conference matchup against Central Catholic, the 6-foot-6 senior forward scored 20 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter, in a 58-52 win.

Masey Zegarowski , Ipswich: In a battle against Cape Ann League rival Hamilton-Wenham, the sophomore point guard poured in 26 points and added five assists in a 56-41 victory.
