Fund-raiser to benefit Woodcrest fire survivors

The Woodcrest Fire Relief Effort is scheduled to hold a Show Your Love fund-raiser in partnership with CHOICE Inc. (Chelmsford Housing Opportunities for Intergenerational and Community Endeavors) to benefit survivors of the fatal fire that occurred Jan. 5 at the Woodcrest condominium complex. The fire claimed the lives of an elderly couple, injured several other people, and displaced many. The fund-raiser is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday at the Chelmsford Lodge of Elks, 300 Littleton Road. The event will feature appetizers, live and silent auctions, a cash bar, and live music by Chelmsford’s own ATTIK and Stefani Bush. Organizers are still seeking auction items. Anyone who wishes to donate an item should e-mail Bush at woodcrestfirerelief@aol.com by Feb. 12. Tickets are $25 per person and will be on sale at the door. For more information, visit www.woodcrestfirerelief.com. Individuals who are unable to make it to the fund-raiser but would like to support the cause are asked to send checks payable to the Woodcrest Fire Relief Fund to Enterprise Bank, in care of CHOICE Inc., 185 Littleton Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824.
