The Board of Selectmen has posted the warrant for the May 6 Annual Town Meeting. Voters will be asked to consider 40 articles, ranging from a proposal that would limit the use of leaf blowers to the months of April, May, October, and November, to a measure that seeks to appropriate money to the Board of Health for water-quality monitoring, soil-gas monitoring, risk assessment, and other services needed to determine the extent of soil removal and other remediation necessary at the town’s old landfill. Town Meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:45 p.m. at the Marblehead Veterans Middle School auditorium, Duncan Sleigh Square, 217 Pleasant St. To view the warrant, visit the town website at www.marblehead.org.
