Three candidates are competing for two open seats on the Reading Board of Selectmen in the upcoming town election, scheduled for April 2. Daniel A. Ensminger of Oakland Road, a former selectman; Mark W. Jackson of Green Stree; and Marsie K. West of Whitehall Lane, a Reading Municipal Light Department board member, are vying for the seats being vacated by Selectmen Stephen Goldy and Richard W. Schubert, who announced in December that they would not seek reelection. The successful candidates will be elected to serve three-year terms.
