Selectmen to close meeting warrant

The Board of Selectmen plans to close the warrant for the April 29 annual Town Meeting at its meeting Monday. The warrant will include the town’s fiscal year 2014 budget as well as other articles. Among those articles that may be included is one seeking a one-year moratorium on the creation of dispensaries for medical marijuana. Lynnfield, like several other municipalities, is waiting for rules and regulations from the state’s Department of Public Health, which are expected in May. The board’s meeting is scheduled for Town Hall, on Summer Street, at 7 p.m. Town Meeting will be held at Lynnfield Middle School on Main Street.
