Salem is seeking artists and craftspeople to participate in its 10th Artists’ Row season, a city-funded program at Salem Marketplace, located between New Derby and Front streets. It offers an opportunity to work, exhibit, and sell artwork in rent-free space in exchange for providing free art workshops and performances for the community. This year’s Artists’ Row will run from May 23 to Nov. 3. Up to three art stalls will be awarded. Applications and program guidelines are available from the Salem’s Department of Planning & Community Development at the City Hall annex, 120 Washington Street, or at www.salem.com/pages/artistrow. A site visit will be held on Thursday from 5-5:30 p.m. for potential applicants to view the available stalls. Applications must be received by 4 p.m. on April 4. For more information, contact Frank Taormina at 978-619-5685.
