Because of construction, the 23d annual Rockport Community Egg Hunt has been moved this year from Millbrook Meadow, a popular town park, to the playground at the Rockport Elementary School, on Jerdens Lane. The Rockport Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, which sponsors the event, is seeking contributions. Individuals or businesses interested in donating candy or a small prize, or to volunteer, or for further information may contact event chairwoman Missy Anzivino, 978-546-3300, or the chamber office, 978-283-1601). Geared for Rockport children, the event is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. Preschool children will be grouped in one section and children in kindergarten and Grade 1 in another, to search for eggs containing candy and chocolate, and some that can be redeemed for prizes.
