Races for selectmen and School Committee seats

There are races for a seat on the Board of Selectmen and for three seats on the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School Committee at Wenham’s April 11 annual town election. For the Board of Selectmen, former Finance Committee chairman Jack Wilhelm is challenging board chairwoman Molly Martins. For School Committee, there are four candidates for three at-large seats: Jeanise Bertrand; former School Committee member Richard Boroff; former Wenham Finance and Advisory Committee member Deborah Evans; and Melissa Moore, who is running for the second time. Three from that group will replace Kym Donnellan, Ann Minois, and Larry Swartz, none of whom are seeking reelection. All other town seats have just one candidate on the ballot except for the Wenham Housing Authority, which has no candidate.
