Former finance panel chairwoman challenges selectman

There will be just one race on the ballot at Nahant’s April 27 annual town election, with Board of Selectmen chairman Michael Manning being challenged by Joyce Maroney, former chairwoman of the Advisory and Finance Committee. Voting will be held at the Town Hall, Nahant Road, from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Town Meeting will also be held on that date, beginning at noon in Town Hall. The last date to register to vote in the election is April 5 at the town clerk’s office from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
