Planning Board to consider restaurant opening

The Planning Board on April 4 will hold a public hearing on a proposal by the Webber Restaurant Group to open a restaurant at 13-15 Third Ave. in Northwest Park, a business park off the Middlesex Turnpike. Webber has applied for a special permit under the legal entity Bancroft Chophouse LLC for the project. The restaurant would be part of 3rdAve, an urban-style retail and restaurant center also including housing that Nordblom, which controls the land in the park, plans to develop on part of Third Avenue and surrounding streets. Also on April 4, the board will continue a public hearing on a special permit application by the town for proposed site work at its Marion Tavern at Grand View Farm property, at 55 Center St.
