Beverly Hospital has named its new state-of-the-art operating room suite after Michael Ruane, managing partner of TA Associates Realty in Boston. Ruane, a member of the board of trustees of Northeast Health System, of which Beverly Hospital is a part, and his wife, Liz, have been significant donors to Northeast Health System during the last decade, giving more than $800,000 to the health care organization. “Mike and Liz are wonderful community leaders who have exhibited tremendous commitment to Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals, and they have done so much to help build a culture of philanthropy at our organization,” said Denis Conroy, interim president of Northeast Health System. “Our local hospitals provide top-quality care and are remarkably vibrant centers of caring and healing, in part due to the leadership and support of individuals like the Ruanes.”
