Selectmen close warrant

The Lynnfield Board of Selectmen recently closed the warrant for the April 29 annual Town Meeting. Among the warrant items is the town’s budget for fiscal year 2014, and another to establish a special fund for the 200th anniversary of the incorporation of Lynnfield as a town in 2014, as well as the 300th anniversary of the Meeting House on the town common the same year. Another article would grant an exemption from the motor vehicle excise tax for those on active military duty outside the country. Town Meeting is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. at the middle school, on Main Street.
