There are two candidates nights scheduled for Salisbury next week. The first, sponsored by SCTV, the Salisbury Beach Betterment Association, and the Salisbury PTA, is scheduled for Monday at Town Hall, Beach Road, at 7 p.m. The Salisbury Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a second candidates night on Wednesday at Splash, Salisbury Beach, at 6 p.m. This year’s town election features two contested races, with two candidates for moderator and five candidates for two seats on the Board of Selectmen. Selectman Jerry Klima and Ronalee Ray-Parrott are the candidates for moderator. Incumbent Edwin Hunt, Freeman Condon, Ronald Laffely, Thomas Saab, and Paula Moore are running for two seats on the Board of Selectmen. The election is scheduled for April 30, and will be held in conjunction with the special state primary for the US Senate seat formerly held by John Kerry.
