Rick Doron joins Finance Committee

At its last meeting, the Board of Selectmen appointed Rick Doron to the Finance Committee. Doron’s term will run until May 2014. In other business, selectmen approved a proposal to allow Marblehead Youth Baseball to hold its annual Opening Day parade on April 27. The parade will start at 9 a.m. at the rear of Veterans Middle School. Also at the meeting, selectmen approved a proposal from seniors at Marblehead High School to allow the Senior Class Carnival to be held May 2-5 at Devereux Beach.
