The North Andover Joint Speaker Series, now in its fourth year, is seeking volunteers to help plan and organize future programs, usually three or four per school year, as the group prepares to transition to a new name, The North Andover Parent Resource Network, to better reflect its mission. Duties include researching topics and speakers, scheduling speakers, organizing event logistics, and helping with communication. Meetings are typically held once a month. The speaker series is supported by the town’s parent-teacher organizations and parent advisory councils, North Andover Youth and Recreation Services, North Andover Community Programs, and the Building Respectful Communities Committee. Anyone interested in contributing should contact the Joint Speaker Series at NAJointSpeaker@gmail.com or call Brenda Reeve, one of the speaker series founding members, at 978-685-6068.
