The annual Town Meeting is scheduled to take place May 6, 7, and 8 in the Collins Field House at Andover High School on Shawsheen Road. Each session of Town Meeting will start at 7 p.m. Town Meeting voters will be asked to approve a spending plan for fiscal 2014, which begins July 1, and consider 60 other warrant articles, including several proposed zoning changes and funding requests for the development of a parking management plan for the downtown area, upgrades to the heating and ventilation system at West Middle School, and renovations to the tennis courts at Andover High School. The last day to register to vote during annual Town Meeting is Tuesday, according to Town Clerk Lawrence J. Murphy. The town clerk’s office will be open for new registrations from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day, he said. Upon request, sign-language interpreters, material on tape, and other auxiliary services will be provided. Requests for these services should be made by calling the town’s Americans with Disabilities Act coordinator at 978-623-8530 by April 15. For more information, call the town clerk’s office at 978-623-8255.
