Two vie for vacant selectman’s seat

In the lone race on the ballot at Tuesday’s annual town election, Donald Campbell Jr. and Eliza Lucas are candidates for the three-year Board of Selectmen’s seat being vacated by Frances Fleming, who is not seeking reelection. There is also a ballot question on whether the town should grant a license that would allow a grocery store to sell wine and malt beverages. There are two seats with no candidates: one on the Planning Board, and one on the Housing Authority. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Pigeon Cove Circle, Breakwater Avenue (Precinct 1), St. Mary’s Church, Broadway (Precinct 2), and the town elementary school on Jerden’s Lane (Precinct 3).
