The Winchester Board of Selectmen next month will hold a public hearing on proposed revisions to the town’s rules and regulations pertaining to the hours for alcoholic beverage restaurant licenses. The hearing is scheduled for 8 p.m. July 8 in Winchester Town Hall, 71 Mount Vernon St. Currently, all alcoholic beverages must be removed from tables by the closing hour (midnight). The board is considering keeping the current regulation in place, extending the closing hour from midnight to either 12:30 or 1 a.m., or allowing beverages purchased before closing time to be consumed during the half hour after closing time.
