Library hosts ‘Fright Nights’


The public library has some scary events planned for its adult patrons. The library recently initiated “Fright Nights,” a series of free talks on various haunted topics. The talks, sponsored by the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library, are held at 8 p.m. in the library’s meeting room. The series began last Tuesday with a presentation on witches. It continues on Wednesday when Marianne O’Connor speaks on “Haunted Hikes of New Hampshire,” and on July 2 when Roxie Zwicker discusses “Massachusetts Cemeteries: Legends and Lore.” Other talks will cover topics ranging from zombies to Edgar Allan Poe and the ghosts of Boston.
