Lynn’s fifth annual World Folk Festival will be held Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the waterfront park next to Lynn Heritage State Park, off the Lynnway. Organized by the Highlands Coalition, a local community group, the festival will offer residents a flavor of the many cultures found in Lynn. Musical acts will include Squeezebox Stompers, Tigerman WOAH, Julio Bare, Building Bridges, Babylon Iraqi Group, Fargenign, and Cultural Latino Group. The festival will also feature Women of the World, an ensemble of women from different countries who have joined to celebrate diversity through their music. Food from a variety of cultures will also be served. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket.
