Amesbury Days Thursday through Sunday

The 113th annual Amesbury Days begin Thursday and run through Sunday, and also include fireworks on July Fourth. The annual celebration began in 1899 as a one-day festival for employees of Amesbury mills. Today, it is a community celebration featuring a variety of events, including a block party, brew fest, senior citizens cookout, children’s events in the park and the mill yard, an art show, downtown bazaar and sidewalk sale, communitywide yard sale, Sadie Hawkins race, bicycle ride, old-fashioned car show, and concerts.
