Survey will guide Georgetown space and recreation decisions

Georgetown is updating its Open Space and Recreation Plan, and is developing an online survey that will be released in July and seek citizen input. The document will help guide future decisions about open space and recreation, said town planner Howard Snyder, and will revisit the goals and objectives of previous plans. If accepted by the state, the plan would also allow the town to seek state grants and other funding to help meet those goals. Some content will be incorporated into the town’s master plan when it is revised later this year.
