A Wakefield art school recently earned recognition for its work. In its annual “Best of the Best” Family Favorite Awards issue, Boston Parents Paper selected Kidcasso Art Studio on Albion Street as having the best art class in the Boston area. “Children explore their creative sides through immersion in painting, drawing, sculpture, and other art forms at Kidcasso Art Studio,” the magazine wrote. “From high chair art for babies as young as 6 months to open studio time for teens, there is a class for everyone, including a Happy Art Hour program with cocktails for adults while the kids design.” The magazine selects winners in different categories based on votes from parents. Kidcasso Art Studio is run by Wakefield resident Laura-Marie Small. The others in the top five were Artbeat in Arlington; Museum of Fine Arts in Boston; New Art Center in Newton; and Whitehall Farm Studios in Hopkinton “We are thrilled and honored to be represented with these fine top art establishments in the Boston area and will continue doing great classes,” Small said.
