The Beverly School Committee has laid out a timeline to interview superintendent candidates and plans to name a new superintendent by December. The position has already been advertised, and a search committee plans to review resumes this month. By late October, the committee will interview nine candidates, then recommend four finalists to the School Committee. Those four will be interviewed in November. During that time, the School Committee will conduct background checks on the candidates and make site visits to their school districts. By early December, the School Committee plans to choose a new superintendent and finalize a contract.
