Police investigate fatal shooting of Dracut man

A 25-year-old Dracut man was shot and killed during a large altercation in Lowell in the area of 131 Middlesex St., which is being investigated by city police and State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s office. Keny Sien was taken to Lowell General Hospital with gunshot wounds in the early morning of Aug. 18, and was pronounced dead several hours later. On the same night, police responded to a report of shots fired on Albion Street near West Sixth, and found shotgun shell casings on the scene. Investigators have been looking into whether the two incidents were related, do not believe them to be random, and have said that a silver SUV carrying four males and a female may be involved.
