Malden schools are looking into providing students with iPads. School Committee member Adam Weldai, who leads the Technology and Student Services Subcommittee, said in a recent meeting that the district would seek a grant to help pay for the program, which would be modeled after a program offered by Burlington public schools that provides students in grades 6 and up with an iPad tablet computer. Officials from Malden held an informational meeting with Burlington administrators last month to learn more about their program.
