High-profile items on agenda for Special Town Meeting


Proposals for the adoption of a tax work-off program for veterans, funding for a schematic design for a new police station, and a temporary moratorium on medical marijuana facilities are among the 12 articles on the warrant for Monday’s Special Town Meeting. Residents will also vote on whether to adopt the local meals excise tax at the meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. at Salisbury Elementary School, Lafayette Road. The number of residents needed for a quorum is 125.
