Officials to attend Democratic breakfast

Many state, local, and regional Democratic office holders and seekers will be attending the Lynn Democratic City Committee’s annual unity breakfast Sunday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. They include former governor Michael S. Dukakis; US Representative John F. Tierney; state Treasurer Steve Grossman and Attorney General Martha Coakley – both of whom are running for governor; Secretary of State William F. Galvin and state Auditor Suzanne Bump, who are both seeking reelection; and all other announced Democratic candidates for state constitutional offices. Other notable attendees will include Essex District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett; state Senator Thomas M. McGee of Lynn, who was recently elected Democratic state party chairman; and other members of the Lynn legislative delegation. All Democrats are invited. Admission is $25, payable at the door.
