Bonefish Grill restaurant holding grand opening for charities

A new Burlington restaurant’s grand opening will support local charities. Bonefish Grill is holding an evening of food and drink Saturday from 6-8:30 p.m. at its 44 Wayside Road location. All proceeds to the ticket-only event will support the newly created Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation and Relay for Life of Burlington. Bonefish Grill is a Florida-based restaurant chain that specializes in fresh fish, The Burlington restaurant, which officially opens on Nov. 11, is the company’s first in Massachusetts. The chamber recently established its nonprofit foundation to increase its charitable work, which includes awarding annual scholarships to graduating Burlington High school students. Relay for Life of Burlington holds an annual overnight walk at the high school each June to raise money for the American Cancer Society, one of many such Relay for Life events held each year around the country.
