Health Division holding flu clinics


The Andover Health Division is scheduled to hold two flu clinics. The first, for residents 18 and older, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at West Middle School. The second, for residents age 2 and older, is slated to take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Senior Center. The vaccination is free to residents; however, town officials are asking people to provide their health insurance information so that the Health Division may bill the insurance provider. Both the traditional intramuscular shot and the nasal spray will be available at the clinics, as well as a limited number of high-dose vaccines for seniors 65 and older. For more information about the vaccine or to download forms, visit Forms also are available at the Senior Center, the town offices, and the library. Flu clinic updates will be posted to the Health Division’s flu hotline at 978-623-8347.
