Library closing for two weeks for cleanup

The Boxford Public Library will close for two weeks and then operate from a different location until February 2014 as workers clean out mold, lay new carpeting, and conduct other repairs at its 10 Elm St. location. The main library was scheduled to close on Friday, to reopen at the West Boxford Branch Library, 188 Washington St., on or about Nov. 15. The branch library has been closed since 2009, but remains in good condition. “We just basically went in and cleaned up and are ready to bring a core collection of books with us,” said library director Patty DiTullio, who said that programs will continue at the branch library and at other locations around the town.
